Commission Terms

The terms below are the active framework for commission requests, booking, and delivery.

I. General Terms

  • Please describe your commission clearly and provide organized reference material.
  • Concise notes, visual references, and priority details help keep the project scope accurate.
  • Each progress update includes up to two revision requests.
  • Major scope changes, unclear feedback, or late design changes may affect the timeline or require an added fee.

II. Payment

  • Commission work is paid in full before production begins.
  • Payment is handled through PayPal in EURO.
  • You will be contacted when your request is ready to enter production and payment is due.

III. Process

  • Work-in-progress updates will be shared for review before final delivery.
  • Each review stage includes up to two revision requests within the agreed scope.
  • Completion time ranges from 1 to 3 months, depending on complexity and queue position.
  • Unforeseen delays will be communicated as early as possible.
  • For animation work, rendering time may vary based on resolution, content length, and visual effects.

IV. Customer Satisfaction

  • The goal is to deliver a finished result that matches the agreed brief as closely as possible.
  • After delivery, one final revision may be requested within 7 days.
  • Additional revisions beyond the included revision scope or review window may require an added fee.
  • Clear requirements at the start help prevent misunderstandings and keep production efficient.

V. Copyright and Usage Policy

  • Arzolath retains copyright and ownership of the created models, animations, and related production files.
  • The commissioner receives a personal-use license unless a separate commercial license is agreed in writing.
  • Commercial use of animations requires a separate license discussed and approved in advance.
  • The following actions are not permitted:
  • Claiming authorship of the work.
  • Removing watermarks or signatures.
  • Redistributing, reselling, or significantly altering the work without permission.
  • Credit is required when the work is used, shared, or edited.

VI. Third-Party Characters and Licensed Assets

  • All provided references, assets, and materials must be legally owned or licensed by the commissioner.
  • If third-party characters, brands, or copyrighted assets are involved, permission from the rights holder may be required.
  • Requests may be declined if they create copyright, licensing, or ownership concerns.

VII. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Arzolath may cancel and refund a commission if the project cannot be completed as agreed.
  • Refunds are not available once production has started.
  • Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:
  • Revocation of all rights to the commissioned work.
  • Loss of eligibility for future commissions.
  • Reuse, resale, or repurposing of the unpaid work by Arzolath where legally permitted.

VIII. Work Preferences and Boundaries

  • Arzolath specializes in muscular / bara body types, particularly furries and scalies.
  • Some requests may be declined if they fall outside the current style, workflow, or production scope, including:
  • Designs that are too complex for the available scope.
  • Female characters.
  • Concepts that do not align with the current production style.
  • Visual references are required before a commission can be accepted.

IX. Promotional Usage

  • Completed work may be shown for portfolio and promotional use.
  • Commissioned work will not be sold or redistributed as-is to other clients without a separate agreement.
  • If the project should remain private, this must be requested before production begins. Additional fees may apply.
